Practical QA work, scoped to your team.

Engagements range from a 2-week assessment to multi-month coaching. Every project starts with a clear scope and a fixed-outcome first phase.

QA Strategy & Assessment

Most teams know their QA isn't quite right but can't pinpoint why. We come in, listen to the engineers and the leadership, examine your tooling and processes, and produce a clear assessment with prioritized recommendations. No 200-page report nobody reads — actionable findings you can put on a roadmap next week.

  • Discovery interviews across engineering and QA
  • Process, tooling, and automation audit
  • Risk and gap analysis with prioritization
  • Roadmap with quick wins and longer-term changes

Test Automation Engineering

Automation that breaks every other deployment isn't automation, it's overhead. We design, build, and stabilize test automation that engineers actually trust. Framework selection, test architecture, page object patterns, CI integration, flake reduction — across web, API, and mobile.

  • Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium implementation
  • Test architecture and maintainability patterns
  • CI/CD integration and parallelization strategy
  • Flake reduction and stabilization for existing suites

AI-Augmented QA

AI is writing more code than ever, including tests. That changes what QA needs to do — and creates new risks. We help teams adopt AI-assisted test generation responsibly, review AI-generated test code for hidden gaps, and define the human-in-the-loop practices that keep quality bars high. Practical, hands-on, not hype.

  • AI-assisted test generation with Playwright MCP & Windsurf
  • Code review practices for AI-generated tests
  • Prompt patterns for reliable test scaffolding
  • Quality gates for an AI-augmented engineering workflow

QA Process & Team Coaching

Tooling problems are easy. People and process problems are not. We work with engineering and QA leaders on team structure, hiring rubrics, ownership models, ceremonies, and the change management it takes to make new ways of working stick. Available as discrete projects or ongoing engagements.

  • Team structure and ownership model design
  • Hiring rubrics and interview design for QA roles
  • Cross-functional ceremony and process redesign
  • Coaching for QA leads and engineering managers

For Individual QA Professionals

Individual Training & Mentorship

QA careers are wide open right now, and the skills required are shifting fast. We provide structured mentorship and training for QA professionals at every level — from engineers building their first Playwright suite to senior ICs navigating AI-augmented workflows or moving into leadership.

  • Skill development across automation frameworks
  • Career coaching for IC and leadership tracks
  • Modern QA practices including AI-assisted workflows
  • Customized curriculum based on your goals

Common questions

Frequently asked.

What does a typical engagement look like?
Most engagements start with a discovery conversation, a short scoping document, and a fixed-scope first phase — often a 2-to-4 week assessment. From there we can move into longer execution or coaching work, or hand off a roadmap for your team to run independently.
Do you work with our existing QA team or replace them?
We work with them. Our model is to make existing teams more effective — not to displace them. Most successful engagements involve close collaboration with internal engineers and QA leads who own the work after we leave.
Which automation frameworks do you work with?
Primarily Playwright and Cypress for modern web work, with Selenium when it's required. We've worked across JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Ruby, and C# test suites. Framework choice should match your team's primary stack — we help you pick what fits.
How does the AI-augmented QA work in practice?
We help teams adopt tools like Playwright MCP, Cursor, and Copilot for test generation, then establish review practices so AI-generated tests actually improve quality rather than create false confidence. It's hands-on enablement, not a slide deck.
Do you offer ongoing retainers?
Yes — ongoing coaching, advisory, and team enablement retainers are available for organizations that want a steady QA leadership presence without a full-time hire. Scope and cadence are agreed at engagement start.
What about individual training?
Individual training is offered as structured 1-on-1 or small-group mentorship for QA professionals at any level. We design curriculum around your goals — whether building your first automation suite, transitioning into AI-augmented workflows, or moving from IC to leadership.
